There are mainly Hessian specialties here. The Knobi Champis are awesome. Schnitzel is very plentiful. Pan was very good. Green sauce is of course also part of the dishes. Anyone who is in the mood for Hessian specialties is in good hands here.

I ordered the veal liver with boiled potatoes instead of the mashed potatoes from the menu "Ebbes haamisches". The dish costs 16.90 euros. However, I got the menu with the mashed potatoes listed on the menu and the person who was to eat with me the potatoes I had ordered. This meant that new potatoes had to be cooked first, which took time. The person opposite was almost ready by the time my meal came back. Unfortunately the potatoes weren't really warm at all and the veal liver was puny. For the price, I would have expected a little more. My counterpart wasn't very enthusiastic either, as his food wasn't particularly warm either. The visit was therefore not worth it for us.

A great restaurant at the gates of Frankfurt. The dishes are authentic and tasty. The interior ambience looks rustic but cozy. If you are pressed for time (which is certainly the case with the very few guests when you visit a restaurant), the sometimes somewhat long waiting times for the food could be displeasing (can take 30-45 minutes after ordering). Nevertheless, the focus is on the food and it deserves a full 5 stars!

It's always good here. The portions are big and tasty. The staff is friendly and attentive. I can only recommend it.

Was OK. Table was reserved. After eating goose once in December, this year again everything - except for one small thing - was fine. We'd love to come back.

We had seats in the beer garden, where you could sit comfortably with enough distance from the other tables. The hand cheese as a starter was very tasty, the salad with baked feta was unfortunately only standard. But the service was very attentive and nice. If you just want to eat something like that, you can't go wrong here.

Well, the food tasted satisfactory to good. The service took a while, but the staff was reduced due to Corona. You just have to accept. In any case, the effort was evident. Definitely worth another try.

Nice place to enjoy a meal cosy atmosphere inside . Burger I had was delicious and my wife enjoyed here chicken salad. Staff and owners hear are super friendly and really make you feel at home .
